Front flip and back flip in NoomiClone

The store promises “awesome backflip combos” in tumbling mode and does not list a frame-by-frame recipe. Players practice the older browser build with arch, tuck and a release. TSI_Yoav’s video “how to do front flip noomi clone” (23 Feb 2021) is the credited demonstration for the front flip. The current mobile app has additional controls documented in the App Store release history.

I did not count frames. What I felt in the browser build is that tuck changes the speed of the swing and let go commits you to the air. If the release is early, the figure drops short of the next catch and the regrabs counter does not move. I reset with R and changed one input at a time. That is slower than a combo video and it is the only method I can stand behind.

A careful order, not a frame chart

In bar mode, practice arch and tuck, then let go to leave the bar and compare the release with TSI_Yoav’s demonstration. On mobile, choose the scene with change map first. Tumbling is a separate mode; do not assume the bar-release key is a floor-jump control. Official mobile 1.7.4 notes rename Jump to Squat, but the old itch.io help does not document a corresponding keyboard binding. This is practice advice, not a measured timing chart.

Watch the replay

Version 2.2.0, dated 25 Sep 2026 on Play, can save a replay to the gallery and can play it in slow motion. That is more useful than a written “press tuck at frame 12”. Record one attempt, scrub the tuck, and compare it with the video.
